Game Description
Poker Squares
Deal one card at a time into a 5x5 grid. Choose carefully, because once a card is placed, it stays where you place it. Every row and every column scores as a poker hand, so a single card placement can set up (or ruin) two hands at once. There's no shuffling your way out of a bad decision: with 25 cards and 25 cells, every choice ripples through the rest of the board.
This game follows English point system, where score system reflects the difficulty of getting the hands in the game. American style points system reflects the difficulty of getting the hands in actual poker. This is not actual poker.
This game saves three of your best scores with date.
🕹️ Controls: Gamplay has mouse control, and touchscreens are also supported, however mouse
cursor is always visible. Standard Pico-8 controls are 🅾️ = z-key, and ❎ = x-key on keyboard, arrow keys to
move cursor.
Press Enter to pause the game and access the settings like sound and volume.
